With a passion for teaching students, Mary exemplifies a positive impactful teacher. To support our African American students, Mary started our African American Scholars Society at Sunnymeadows where she meets regularly with our upper grade African American Students and engages them in positive learning opportunities, history, and performing arts. Mary has served as the grade level leader and has taken on the leadership role of our PBIS team. She collaborates with her team and discusses data during the PLC meetings to drive instruction. Mary attends Family Night events we have at our school and is always ready to support Sunnymeadows any way she can. It is with our most sincere gratitude that we honor Mary Massis as our certificated employee of the year. Congratulations!
